Join us for an elegant evening of celebration, community, and service as we honor those who make Highland Park and Highwood a better place for all.
Honoring Civic Leadership
This year, we are thrilled to present our Civic Leadership Award to Terri Olian of the Highland Park Community Foundation. Terri received overwhelming nominations from across our community in recognition of her extraordinary dedication and impact.
Under her leadership, the Highland Park Community Foundation has become a beacon of hope and opportunity for our neighbors. In 2025, HPCF distributed $1,012,240 in annual grants supporting 64 programs and services that positively impact the lives of hundreds of local children, families, and individuals. These grants go beyond addressing immediate needs. They embody a profound commitment to our community's future, fostering opportunities for all to flourish, regardless of background or circumstances.
Terri's vision, compassion, and tireless efforts exemplify the very best of civic leadership and the spirit of Service Above Self that has guided our Rotary Club since 1927.
Celebrating Rotary's Impact
The evening will also showcase the meaningful work our club has accomplished over the past year, from supporting over 100 students in our Highland Park High School Interact Club to our quarterly service at Bernie's Book Bank, from distributing scholarships to local students to our groundbreaking Global Grant supporting education for thousands of blind children in India.
Together, we've proven that local action creates global impact, and that when we invest in our community, we invest in our collective future.
An Evening to Remember
This gala is more than a celebration, it's an opportunity to connect with fellow community leaders, business professionals, and neighbors who share a commitment to making a difference. Whether you're a longtime Rotarian, a community partner, or someone curious about the power of service, we invite you to join us for an inspiring evening of fellowship, reflection, and purpose.
