Happy Dollars

Mike Lubelfeld was happy and humbled to be honored last month by the Club. Bill Pigati was happy to be here with all the happy familiar faces! Karen Dennis was happy for the 10 days in Belgium and Paris with her grandchildren. She also was happy that she was able to arrange for MYA's fundraiser for next spring ! Satish Tripathi was excited about attending the RI convention in Calgary! Ben Jagim was happy to announce the Rotary Means Business meeting coming in September in Deerfield. He's working at arranging more with other neighboring Clubs. Neil Dahlmann was the proud Grandpa to share with us that his Grandson Ben ran the 10K at the NCAA Finals and finished 10th place! Since about half the top ten were from Kenya, Ben ranked 3rd All America! Neil and Mary will also celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary this week! Phil Lazarus was happy to welcome everyone, especially Bill Pigati, Mike Lubelfeld and Skip Jacobs. Mary Beth was happy that the anthology she help with poem selections, Sunflowers Rising, is now available on Amazon! Proceeds go a Kyiv orphanage. You can purchase it here.

The Day's Program

Here are the important notes from our meeting:

Inauguration Party will be Thursday, July 17th at Del Rio at 6p. More Details to come. If the weather is good, we'll be outside.
Sponsors and players are needed for our Golf Outing.
Mike Lubelfeld will be speaking to the League of Women Voters on June 28th at their luncheon - 11:45a at Trinity Episcopal Church. Tickets are available on their website He'll be speaking on generative artificial intelligence in K-12 education.
Clubrunner will be upgrading their program. Once we make the change, Mary Beth will have mini demo at an upcoming meeting.

With the July 4th holiday approaching, we will NOT meeting on July 1st. Our next meeting is July 15th at the bank.
