Happy Dollars

Karen Dennis was happy to have spent time in upstate NY for her daughter's birthday. She wasn't happy about the drive back during the recent snowstorm; Eric Ephraim was just happy to be here; Len Tenner was happy to have spent the January family birthdays with the family in St Thomas - he wasn't happy to be in our lousy weather! Doris Xie was happy to announce TRF received the $150M from the Gates Foundation! Neil Dahlmann was happy to have learned how to walk like a penguin with all this sleeting rain

The Day's Program

This week, we met with Dan and Xenia Richter, the power couple leading our new satellite club - Rotary Community Partners. Xenia is originally from California. loves to travel. Dan grew up her in the area, loves anything about outer space. He is an entrepreneur. He and Xenia practice martial arts - sparring together. The goal of RCP is to bring together capable and passionate people to share and execute projects that better our community. This is also to inspire others in the pursuit of Service Above Self. They shared their ideas for service projects alongside Interact students and our Club keeping in mind sustainability of these projects. There are about 10 parents who will soon be a part of RCP. It was great to get to know more about Dan and Xenia and their vision of RCP!
